Came to the U.S. at age 4; married abt 1760 in Frederick Co., MD; Revolutionary Soldier, prob. relocated to OH on a U.S. land grant after the war; married in Frederick Co., MD; lived in Clearcreek Twp. and d. 8-1810 in Fairfield Co. with a Will. Heirs were daughters, Mary Stephens, wf of Leonard Stephens and Catherine Root 1774-1847, wf of Jacob Root of Washington Co., MD; sons, Daniel and Nicholas Conrad. John Conrad was a legatee and a witness. Family in Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD, owed the estate money.
