William M. Hughes Sr., 72, of Center Grove Road, Millville, died Saturday evening in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, after a brief illness.
He was born in Millville, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a machinist for Diamond International Corp. until his retirement 10 years ago and was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Millville.
Mr. Hughes is survived by a son, William M. Hughes Jr. of Millville; a daughter, Janet Periconi of Vineland; a sister, Dorothy Fisher of Millville, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at the Christy Funeral Home, 1 W. Broad St., Millville. Interment will be made in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Millville.
