Daughter, Germaine married American soldier, Otto John Rickman on May 6th, 1919. She shipped out with him to the United States on June 7th, 1919 following the end of the Great War.
Sadly, she never got the opportunity to visit her homeland nor see her parents again before her death Aug. 26, 1948 at Ardenwald, Milwaukie, Clackamas County, Oregon USA.
