Elaine L. Daul, age 89 of 4407 Ravine Drive, Manitowoc, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 27, 2014.

Elaine was born on May 16, 1925 in Chilton, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Andrew and Florence Thiel. She graduated from Hilbert High School and in 1943 she married Joseph Ralph Daul in San Diego, California. They celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage until Ralph passed away in 1997.

She enjoyed her life with her family and friends as a homemaker as well as volunteering for her church. Survivors include three sons and three daughters-in-law: Gregory and Tamara Daul, Encinitas, CA; Dallas and Karen Daul, Portland, OR; Jim and Yvonna Daul, Portland OR; two daughters and sons-in-law: Bonnie and Wilfred Bounds, Manitowoc, WI; Georgia and Stephen Papoi, Granger, IN; one brother and sister-in-law: Randolph and Armella Thiel, Chilton, WI; 15 grandchildren: Lisa Muench, WI: John (Teresa) Mittnacht, WI; Ty (Sheree) Daul, OR; Trevor (Kathaleen) Daul, CA; Brittany Gabrielle (Kevin) Wren, CA; Raphael Curtis, CA; Sheila (Mike) Kish, IN; Deva Ashley, IN; Chad (Molly) Daul, OR; Alex Daul, OR; Shannon (Brian) Nelson, OR; Kelli (Benjamin) Timson, OR; Seth Daul, OR; Amanda Brolliar, OR; and David Brolliar, OR: 21 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and a longtime friend of the family: Ray Madsen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at First Reformed United Church of Christ, 3613 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Runge will officiate. Friends and relatives may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 am. .
