He served in the U.S. Air Force, owned J & L Grounds Maintenance, and later worked as a truck driver for Columbia River Logistics.
He enjoyed model trains and loved his dogs Maggie and Cindy, and was known for his great sense of humor.
Jerry is survived by his former wife, Linda; sister, Rita Hildreth; sister-in-law, Lois Kocina and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Don.
The family would like to thank the staff at OHSU Radiation and numerous V.A. health providers for their care of Jerry.
