He graduated from Donoho High in Anniston, AL, attended Auburn University, Jacksonville State University, graduated from Columbia College, was a 23 year U.S. Navy veteran and after retirement he became Program Director for the Department of the Navy. Bruce was a member of Knights of Columbus, 4th degree. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Coleman; children, Bryan Coleman and Laura Beth Gibbs and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held March 21,2015 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando, FL. Gentry Morrison Funeral Home in Lakeland is serving the family.
