JOSEPH ALVA LAPOLE died at his home, 423 Ridge Ave., on Monday at 10 pm, aged 63 years.
He was born and reared at Breathedsville but had resided in this city for the past 10 years.
Surviving are: wife, Susan May (Cunningham) Lapole; daughters, Mrs. Mary Forsythe, Mrs. Hazel Martz, Mrs. Susan Seville, and Mrs. Jane Eichelberger, all of Hagerstown; sons, Joseph W., Washington, DC; and Luther Lee Lapole, this city; and 5 grandchildren.
Services Thursday at 2 pm at the home with the Rev. Dr. F. Berry Plummer officiating. Interment in Manor Cemetery.
