She was the daughter of Michael A. Malley (1860-1909) and Ellen "Nellie" (Burns) Malley (1864-ca 1941).

In 1913, she married George Albert Spencer Sr. (1893-1965) and they had a daughter, Mary Alice (Spencer) Nickerson (1912-1978).

She was the sister of Mary Alice (Malley) Dunlea (1885-1918).

(Note: Headstone lists her birth year as 1893. However, numerous documentation shows birth year as 1890.)
