Larry Dean Anderson, 66, of Eagan
Larry Dean Anderson, 66, formerly of St. Charles currently living in Eagan, died at his home Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011.
He was born Sept. 6, 1945, in St. Charles to Clarence and Bernice Mae (Woodward) Anderson.
He graduated from Spring Grove High School and attended Winona State University, where he played football. He married and was later divorced.
Larry worked 30 years for United Parcel Service in the Twin Cities until his retirement. Larry was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Gophers, Twins and Vikings. He also liked to golf.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Anderson of California; an uncle, Bob Anderson of St. Charles; a brother-in-law, Dick Hanson of Minneapolis; a godson, Brett Hanson; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roger, and one sister, Betty.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor's choice.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles. Burial of the cremated body will be in Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Feel free to wear your favorite sports attire.
