Susie Viola Morris Green, known by many as Mama Susie, was born in Estill Fork on October 13, 1924 to Lola Ethel Brewer Morris and Charlie Lee Morris, Sr. and departed on March 21, 2015 from Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville. For the majority of her adult life, she was a member of the Huntland Community. Mama Susie was devoted to her family beyond measure and was known for being caring and nurturing to family, friends, and those in need. She worked at the shirt factory in Huntland, as a nursing assistant, as a homemaker, and a care giver for elderly people. She was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Worth S. Green; son, Larry Joe Green; brothers, John T. Morris, JD Morris, and Wayne Morris; and sister, Magdaline Sims. She is survived by sons and their wives, Carlos (Buddy) and Dru DuBois, and Andy and Mary Lee Green; daughter, June Green; daughter-in-law, Pat; brothers Charlie Morris, Jr. and Eddie Joe Morris; sister, Anna Reynolds; grandchildren and spouses, Shannon DuBois, Joey Green, Cindy and Greg Garrett, Curt and April DuBois, Barbie and Yosuke Green Wantanabe, Will and Lisa Green, Trent and Lauren Green, and Rebecca Green, Lacey May; great-grandchildren, Dustyn Garrett, Dylan DuBois, Felicia DuBois, Charlsie Garrett, Jesse Garrett, Austin Howell-Green, Ashleigh Howell-Green, Nathan DuBois, Hannah Dubois and Emaree Walls; great-great grandchildren, Parker Garrett and Braxton DuBois; and many loving nieces, nephews, their spouses, and a very special brother-in-law. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
