Sadie V. Buhrman, 77, of ..., died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at a local care home. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rev. Donald O'Brien will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery...
Mrs. Buhrman was born Aug. 1, 1911, at Dannebrog, the daughter of Niels and Martha Petersen Jensen. She attended District 61 school at Dannebrog and was a 1930 graduate of Dannebrog High School. She married Bernard "Ben" Buhrman on May 31, 1932, at St. Libory Catholic Church. They farmed near St. Libory until 1954, when they moved to Grand Island. Mr. Buhrman died March 5, 1971. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament parish, its altar society and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Survivors include a daughter, Angeline Forrow of St. Libory; three sons, Bryon of Omaha, Brendan of Columbus, Ohio, and Delmer of Ft. Collins, Colo.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Jensen of Puyallup, Wash., and two sisters, Glady Grous and Mildred Darnell, both of Nice, Calif.
