ALVIN WILLIAM REVOIR - TEXAS CITY - Alvin William Revoir, 81, passed away January 25, 2007 in Houston. He was born June 3, 1925 in Troy, New York. Alvin was in the Merchant Marines during WW II, an active member of the American Legion, as well as an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Azelle Bryan Revoir, parents: Noah and Rose Donley Revoir, brothers: Vernon, James and Lewis Revoir, and his sister: Dolores St. John. Survived by his sisters-in-law: Evelyn Revoir, Edna Revoir and Jodie Bryan Holt.

A Graveside Service will be Monday, January 29, 2007 at 12:30 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

Jodie is requesting any members from WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Iraqi War, or the American Legion to volunteer to serve as pallbearers.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a book be donated to a library of your choice in his name.
