Nellie was first married to Norris Brittain on 1 January 1880 in Sonoma, California, they had one daughter Fannie Violet Brittain born 4 Oct 1881 in Sonoma, Ca. and died 21 April 1941 in Sonoma, Ca. Fannie was raised by Thomas and Nellie and she never married.
