Richard Dean “Dick” Jenner, age 83, of Marion died Tuesday March 24, 2015 at Heartland of Marion. Dick was born June 4, 1931 in Marion, OH to the late William David and Mary Margaret (Thieken) Jenner. Dick served his county in the Navy during the Korean War and later retired from the US Post Office as a carrier and clerk and worked for MCI as a corrections officer. Dick was married to the late Martha Louck.

Dick is survived by his sons, Dean Jenner of Columbus, Jay Jenner of Denver, CO and Gary Jenner of Marion; grandchildren, Sarah Askari, Grace and David Jenner; and greatgrandchildren, Kyle and Melody Askari. He was predeceased by eight siblings and special friends, Maxine Bell and Betty Rhinehart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Friday, March 27, 2015 at St. Mary Church with calling one hour prior. Father Thomas Buffer will preside and burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Marion County United Veterans Council will conduct graveside services.
