Florence M. Flandermyer, 90, of York, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at her home. She was the wife of Herman C. Flandermyer, who died Jan. 1, 1996.
The service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, 140 W. King St., York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home Inc., 2290 School St., Shiloh, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Flandermyer was born May 8, 1908, in Brillhart Station. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Minnie (Buehler) Aldinger.
She was a chart member of First St. John's Evangelical Church - Missouri Synod, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and Ruth Guild.
Mrs. Flandermyer is survived by a son, Carl E. Flandermyer of York; a daughter, Julia M. McCourt of Fort Smith, Ark.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Victor S. Aldinger Sr. of Manchester, William A. Aldinger Sr. of Dallastown and Paul E. Aldinger of Seven Valleys; a sister, Sarah Walters of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Larry A. Schaefer and the Rev. Walter D. Carlson, chaplain at the Lutheran Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Organ Repair Fund, 140 W. King St., York 17403.
