Beckey is the daughter of Frank R. and Beth (Francis) Rounds-White (Dallas J White was Becky's step father. Memorial #64306143)She was a graduate of Ogden High School, class of 1961 where she was a member of the A Cappela choir. She attended Weber State College, was a dental assistant, and a former member of the Mount Ogden Junior Posse.

She married Kent Argyle the first time when they were in the third grade and living in Grand View Acres. One of the other kids was the "minister" who married them. I was a bridesmaid with a bouquet of wildflowers gathered in the nearby field. It was a solemn and momentous ceremony as they vowed to marry for real when they were of age. They married for the second time on May 28, 1963 in Ogden, Utah. Theirs was a true love story but was cut short when Beckey died suddenly. An autopsy failed to find a conclusive cause of death.
