CECELIA BALLARD
1902--1985

Mrs. Cecelia Ballard, 82, formerly of Erieanna (?) Township, died Thursday afternoon at Morris Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Church, Seneca, with the Rev. James Culleton officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Pontiac. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Osborne Pfeffer Funeral Home, Seneca with prayers at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Ballard was born Nov. 22, 1902 in Pontiac to Hugh and Cecelia (Burns) Wheeler. She married Maurice Ballard in 1952 at St. Mary's Church, Pontiac. She was a graduate of Pontiac High School and Illinois State University in Normal. She taught school in Livingston County for 17 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Helen Krewer of Utica and one brother, Lawrence of Murray, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and one sister.
