Marguerite Luehrs, 94, passed away on March 23, 2015. She was born on May 24, 1920 in Flint, Michigan. Marguerite was a devout member of First United Methodist Church and a donor to Texas A&M Corp of Cadets. After over 20 years of working for CCISD as assistant superintendent of school cafeterias, Marguerite and husband Lester enjoyed owning and operating Luehrs Cotton Company. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Lester Luehrs.

Survivors include her children, John and wife Nancy Hemphill, Jeanette and husband John Woods, Robert and wife Joy Luehrs and Dianne and husband Mark Baker; grandchildren, Joel Hemphill, David Hemphill, Shari Joglar, Kimberly Smith, John Thomas Smith, Harold Smith, Tommy Luehrs, Daniel Luehrs, Ellysa Luehrs, Brian Baker, Troy Baker and Elizabeth Baker; great grandchildren, Jacob Hemphill, Emily Hemphill, Allison Hemphill and Joseph Hemphill, Emma Joglar and Lucus Joglar, Andrew Martinez, Tyler Haverland, Brandon Smith, Ryan Smith, Fredrick Michael Luehrs and Marguerite Jean Luehrs.

Visitation will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are grandsons Joel, David, Harold, Tommy, Daniel and Brian. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons Troy and John Thomas.
