MRS. DAISY GRIFFIN DIES AT LA PLATA
-FUNERAL AND BURIAL TO BE TOMORROW
Mrs. Daisy Griffin died last night at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Kirg Finn in La Plata, with whom she had lived with the past year and a half. She suffered a stroke several years ago and had been in impaired health since that time.
The funeral is to be held tomorrow morning at the Christie Funeral Home. Burial will be in the La Plata Cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Goldie Pickrel of St. Louis, and a son, John Griffin of Kansas City. Another daughter preceded her in death. Mrs. Griffin lived in Kirksville several years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Griffin, who died Sunday night at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Kirg Finn in La Plata, were held this morning at the Christie Funeral Home in La Plata, conducted by the Rev. F.L. Hudson, pastor of the Community Presbyterian Church.
Burial was in the La Plata Cemetery.
NOTE: Goldie has a tombstone in La Plata Cemetery and a vault in the mausoleum at Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis with her husband, Ray Pickrel. It is unknown which place she is buried until further investigation.
