Lola C. Hopper, age 84, died peacefully, December 12, 2003. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Lola devoted her life to caring for her family and loved ones. She was very involved in her church throughout her lifetime.
Lola was born in Conconully, WA, on June 23, 1919, the fourth of six children to David and Lillie Townsend and grew up in Okanogan, WA. She married her high school sweetheart, W. Burton Hopper on January 1, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1988. They raised three children, Judy Frazier (Jack), John Hopper (Gret), and Kathi Hopper. She is also survived by grandchildren Lisa Hendrickson (Ryan), Andrew Frazier (Terri), and Emily Hopper; and 3 great-grandchildren, Nicole, Laura, and Cody. She is also survived by a brother, Lee Townsend, and a sister, Ethel Smith.
The family wishes to thank Ion and Elena Berari and Carmen for their loving care for her.
Graveside service will be December 16, at 11 am at Floral Hills in Lynnwood, WA. Memorial service will follow at the Everett First Baptist Church at 1:00 pm.
