Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Stratford First Baptist Church for William Theodore Wauson, 72, who died Sunday in a traffic accident. Burial services will be held Wednesday at Houston. Stratford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Wauson, who was born September 30, 1896 in Latta, had moved to Stratford last week after living the past 25 years in Houston. He was a former school teacher who also had worked for an oil company. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth of the home; two sons, Warren Clyde Wauson, Duncan and Merle D. Wauson, Houston; two sisters, Ethel Hilley, Stratford and Likie Herndon, Adams (?) and five children.
