Dorothy went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 27, 2015. She was born May 22, 1940, in Ada, OK to Clarence & Florence Coffee. She married Forrest T. Barnes on March 24, 1958.

Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and being Grandma Dorothy. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was an active member of the Wilmont Place Baptist Church since 1996.

Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Forrest "Frosty"; sister, Betty Massie; son, Rick Barnes and wife Renee; daughter, Kelly Whitaker and husband Bruce; son, Alan Barnes and wife Sheri; her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Monday, March 30, 4-8 p.m. with family receiving friends 5-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31 at the Wilmont Place Baptist Church. Friends may leave condolences at www.vondelsmithmortuary.com
