Doris L. Barrett, 92, lifelong resident of Green Bay, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her home with her family by her side. She was born March 21, 1923, in Green Bay to William and Mildred (Routhieaux) Ruben.

On July 27, 1940, Doris married Kenneth N. Barrett. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1984. She enjoyed reading and read the complete Bible twice. In her younger years, Doris volunteered at St. Mary's Roller Rink. She had a strong faith and was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Angels Parish. Doris prayed for and contributed towards St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter.

Doris is survived by five children, Kenneth W. Barrett, Kathleen (John) Krol, Marilyn (Michael) Laes, Richard Barrett, Jonathon (fiancée, Janice Jacquart) Barrett; ten grandchildren, Reyne Flavion, Michelle Lemin, Joseph (Lynn) Barrett, Michael (Colleen) Barrett, Matthew (Tina) Krol, Jason (friend, Sarah) Krol, Charles Laes, Mindy (Kenny) Peterson, Jonathon (Michaela) Barrett, and Kelly Barrett; 16 great-grandchildren, Logan, Erin, Zackary, Cora, Zackary, Rayana, Frank, Maxwell, Trent, Jesse, Andrew, Destiny, Rayn, Ethan, Sofia, and Abagail; two sisters, LaVerne Boucher and Gloria Cormier; and a brother, Jim Ruben.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth N. Barrett; granddaughter,
Nicole Barrett; great-granddaughter, Brianne; daughter-in-law, JoAnne Barrett; her parents; brother, William; and two sisters, Joyce and Elaine.
