Alfred O. "Foxy" Lacaillade, 92, of Main St., passed away at the Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. He was the husband of the late Carol D. (Leathers) Lacaillade. A lifelong resident of Coventry, he was a son of the late Alfred A. and Diane (Hebert) Lacaillade.Alfred was a letter carrier and parcel post for the US Postal Service. He worked at the West Warwick branch from 1947 until retiring in 1977. He was a Corporal in the Army Air Corp. serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater during WWII. He later earned the rank of Sergeant in the US Air Force Reserves. Foxy was a professional golfer. He had been an assistant pro at the Valley, Quidnessett, and Foster Country Clubs. During his lifetime Foxy achieved eight holes-in-one.
