Victoria -- Mrs. Theresa Hammerschmidt, 61, died Saturday at St. Anthony Hospital, Hays. Born May 6, 1913 she was a member of the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her husband, Servillan, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Werth, Victoria; one son, Dennis, Hays; two brothers, Alvin and Benedict Brungradt, both of Hays; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Kinderknecht, Grinnell, Mrs. Catherine Belendir, Victoria, Mrs. Tillie Speere, Russell, Mrs. Anton Kinderknecht, Park; four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Fidleis Church, Victoria. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Parish wake service will be at 8 p.m. Monday at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria, with the Christian Mothers. Friends may call until time of service at the mortuary.
