Long time resident of Bryan Ohio. Mary lived part of her life in Wrangell Alaska with her husband, Ross Wayne Ford. Frances, as Grandpa Ford called her, lived at 608 Beach Street in Bryan, Ohio. Her small, neat, green house, was the place for weekend retreats for numeours grandchildren to play. Two blocks away, at the Catholic school, her grandchildren often exhausted every ounce of energy during these days; during this simple time, children were out at sunrise and back in the yard when the streetlamps came on. Grandma Ford never had to worry, as the streets around her Bryan home were safe and secure. Large gathers of over 20 to 30 people with huge meals was very common at the Ford home. Grandma was set in her ways and at times very stubborn, but she was our grandma; take the good with the bad...it all wound up good. She survied the painful death of Grandpa (Ross) Ford and lived for almost two decades after his death. If you have the chance to stop by her grave, leave a lucky penney on the headstone.
