Ralph C. Blakely died *Sunday of causes related to age in his Vancouver home. At his family's request, no funeral will be held. Mr. Blakely was 87.
A Vancouver resident since 1965, Mr. Blakely was born in Rest, Kan., on March 8, 1902. He was a retired warehouseman for the Bonneville Power Administration in Vancouver, where he worked until 1972.
Surviving Mr. Blakely are his wife, Mabel of Vancouver; sons, Ted E. of Boulder, Colo., and Albert L. of Washburn, Wis.; daughters, Marion A. Riley of Vancouver, Janet L. Gray of Spokane, Helen L. Smolen of Grants Pass, Ore., Diana J. of Palo Alto, Calif., and Phyllis J. Wharton of North Highlands, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Disposition was by cremation.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to Community Home Health and Hospice of Clark County, 2417 Broadway, Vancouver 98663.
