Irma Viola LaBelle, 99, Two Harbors, died March 27, 2015, at Barross House in Two Harbors.
Services were held Wednesday, April 1, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
Irma was born July 15, 1915, in Harnosand, Sweden, and raised by Einar and Agnes (Hoving) Norell. She came to America when she was 9 years old. Irma resided in Duluth and later moved to Two Harbors and Silver Bay.
She was a former member of Knife River Valley Club, Sychar Lutheran Church, Silver Bay VFW Auxiliary, and the Loyal Order of Moose.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gust Norell and Sven Hoving; sister, Martha Bodin; husbands, Archie Kresal, Arvid F. Johnson, and Albert LaBelle; step-son Alan LaBelle; and great-grandson Jacob Anthony.
