Alice L Lytle, 80. wife of Jacob Lytle, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Whiteman, south of Gas City.
Native of Ohio, Mrs. Lytle had lived here for 13 years. She was a member of the Gas City Christian church.
Survivors in addition to her husband, include two sons, Ruppert Sorrell Pinckney, Mich., and Arthur Sorrell, Warren, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Whiteman and Mrs. Iva Baldwin, Gas City; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Bertha Carmichael, Marion; one grandchild; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Carr, Pemberville, O.; Mrs. Clara Baumer, Fremont. O., and Mrs. Pearl Caulkins, Cleveland, O.; and one brother, Edward Johnson, Waynetown, Ind.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Gas city Christian Church, with Rev. Dewey Hoise, officiating. Burial was made in Jefferson Cemetery.
