Mrs. E. J. Cherryholmes
Port William - Mrs. Emma Jane Cherryholmes, 87, of the Port William Community, Jamestown, Route 2, died at her residence at 10 A.M. today after failing for two years.
She resided with a daughter, Miss Edith Cherryholmes, who survives.
A native of Adams County, she was born March 30, 1874, the daughter of Reed and Harriet Bartlett Arrasmith.
She was a member of the Reesville Methodist Church and the Auxiliary of the Spanish-American War Veterans No. 61.
Also surviving are two sons, Harold G., Sr. and Fred F., both of Wilmington, Ohio; a brother, Ernest Arrasmith of New Antioch; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Ridout of Jeffersonville and Mrs. Ethel Summers of Hillsboro; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services, in charge of the Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, are incomplete.
