Roger Lehrmann, age 83, formerly of Two Creeks passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Woodside Lutheran Home, Green Bay.

Roger was born August 23, 1938, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Henry and Grace (Buenzow) Lehrmann. He was a graduate of Kewaunee High School. On June 4, 1960, he was united in marriage to the former Karen Lee Rogalske at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Kewaunee. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2004.

When Roger was 14, he drove trucks for his dad hauling milk cans and beets. In 1975, Roger and Karen purchased the farm from his parents and farmed it until 1990. Along with Karen and his daughters, he employed many trusted farm hands. When his girls were in 4-H and showing dairy animals, he would haul many, many dairy animals to the fairs in his cattle truck with usually a little rider or two along for the ride. Roger was a volunteer firefighter with the Two Creeks Fire Department driving to many fires. Later, his truck driving continued with water trucks for Manitowoc County Speedway, were he ran the racing program, and Luxemburg Speedway, where he took his grandson with him to help pack track in the Bronco.

After farming, Roger and Karen got into delivering newspapers and Auto Buyer books. He delivered Herald Times Reporter, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Green Bay Press Gazette, Lakeshore Chronicle, and Kewaunee County News. His grandchildren were always willing to go along and help deliver because then they got breakfast at the Copper Kettle! He was involved with Manitowoc County Expo for many years – even serving as president for several years. He was very proud at being elected to the state Fairs association! His greatest joy was his grandchildren which he rarely said "No" to! He loved to tell them silly jokes, take them out to eat, teach them to drive in the field, and change a tire. He would sit in heat or cold to watch their sporting events! There was never a dull moment when grandpa and the kids were together. "Grandpa said" was heard often! Roger was overjoyed to become a Great Grandpa and couldn't wait to tease and be sassy with them!

Survivors include his daughters: Lori (Perry) Lauscher, Two Creeks; Lisa (Roger, Jr.) Olson, Eagle River; five grandchildren: Rebecca Lauscher (fiance Cameron Ninos), Carolyn (Mark) LaTour, Nathan Lauscher, Elizabeth Lauscher (special friend Sean McKinster), Samantha Lehrmann; two great grandchildren: R.J. and Harper; five sisters: Marie Skarvan, Jean (Dick) Becker, Eileen Gretz, Luella (David) Soukup, Joyce (Don) Mueller; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his wife Karen Lee Lehrmann, his parents Henry & Grace Lehrmann, father-in-law and mother-in-law Ralph & Elva Rogalske, his in-laws Eugene Skarvan, Kenny Gretz, Sandy Zuege, Kenneth Zuege and one nephew Dean Zuege.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Kewaunee, 1012 Wisconsin Avenue. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. James Heffner with entombment to take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth, at a later time.
