Griffin, Elmo Everett

Elmo Everett Griffin, 73, passed away at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital on Sept. 11, 1987.

Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Evelyn Griffin; three sons, Daniel E. Griffin of Grand Junction, Gary L. Griffin, Kenneth D. Griffin, and one daughter, Charlene K. Griffin, all of Pueblo. He also is survived by three brothers, Dewey Griffin of Rocky Ford, James Griffin of California and Faye Griffin of Pueblo; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Griffin was born on Dec. 20, 1913, in Fowler.

He was a retired electrician with Local 12 IBEW.

Visitation hours from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1987, at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1987, at Imperial Chapel with the Rev. Philip L. Green Jr. officiating.

Interment, Sunrise Slope, Imperial Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends at the family home, 1914 E. Fifth St., following interment.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Pueblo Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation through the funeral home.
