Note: AE 72y. Something went wrong with the stone at this lot, he is given as b. 1795 d. 1867, although the dates given do come to 72 years, the re-interment date was used; his re-interment is confirmed with the carrier rec. The name "Bowes" does not run in this family, the name "Barnes" does. He gave his name as William Barnes Bradford at the time of his brother's Will. William Barnes of Plymouth m. Alice Bradford.

Burial history: William B. Bradford and D. Sanger had tomb 118 in Central Burying Ground built in 1796, "D. Sanger & W. B. Bradford". It appears his parents, or Mary's parents had tomb 51 at St. Paul's Church, which W. B. obviously appropriated after their death. Most of this family was interred at the parents tomb at St. Paul's. William B.'s brother, Joseph Nash Bradford was interred into tomb 118 at Central in 1818. There are many Copeland family members in this tomb; other names are Wood, Whiting, Granger, Bruce, Faxon, Learned, Kendall, Clapp, Chamberlin, and Weller. Other family members re-interred into this lot came from a different tomb at Central. Mary's parents, John & Mary (Collins) Tufts; her father d. 1797 and her mother d. 1799; they are prob in tomb 118 at Central.
