He was born on January 3, 1925 in Branch, son of the late Joseph J. & Rose (Stipek) Naidl. Vic was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1943. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corp. On September 17, 1949 he married the former Elaine Trochil at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Vic was a buyer for Englewood Electric until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of AmVets Post #99. Vic volunteered with the Boy Scouts, was a lector for the former St. Boniface Catholic Church, on the organizational committee that started the Friends of Sinawa, Meals on Wheels and the original soap box derby.
Vic enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and woodworking.

Also surviving are two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law: Leroy & Lorraine Trochil, Allen & Sandra Bialek, Catherine Naidl & Nancy Naidl. Nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph & Rose Naidl; his step mother: Marie Naidl; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Irene Naidl, Lucille & Edmund Schreiber, Joseph Sauer; and six brothers and sisters-in-law: John Naidl, George & Marion Naidl, Joseph & Viola Naidl, Raymond & Helen Naidl, Lester & Charlotte Naidl and Norbert Naidl.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. Military Rites will be accorded by AmVets Post #99.
