Glenn "Windy" Nicholson, Sr., 81, of Connellsville, passed away peacefully Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 3, 1933 in Connellsville a son of the late Samuel Austin and Florence Mason Nicholson. Glenn was a graduate of Connellsville High School. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Air Force. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a carpenter through Union Local #2274 in Pittsburgh. He had been a member of the Connellsville VFW #21 and American Legion #301.

Glenn is survived by his wife Debra A. Reho Nicholson, his children Samuel Nicholson and wife Jacqueline of South Connellsville, Dawn Robin Behunin and husband Trenton of Salt Lake City, UT., Richard Nicholson and wife Sherry of Connellsville, Wesley Nicholson and wife Gretchen of Scottdale, Joseph Nicholson of Mt. Pleasant, and Kenneth Nicholson and James Shumaker both of Connellsville, his daughter-in-law Trudy Christman Nicholson of Leisenring, 16 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, his brother Samuel Arthur Nicholson and wife Karla of St. Petersburg, FL. and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Glenn was predeceased by a son Glenn Nicholson Jr., a sister Dolly Lorraine Pegg, and his brothers Boyd, Ernest, Domer, Donald, twin brother Grant, Wade, and Gilbert Nicholson.
