KING

King, Beatrice, age 96, passed away peacefully Aug. 4, 2014 surrounded by family and lovingly cared for by Methodist Hospital Comfort Care staff.

Bea's kindness, compassion, wisdom and humor will be forever missed. She touched the hearts of all who met her.

Preceded in death by husband, Harry; son, Gary; her Ma & Pa; and all 8 of her cherished siblings. Somewhere in heaven they are gathered around a piano again singing joyously.

Bea had many interests, the most important being family. She loved music, travel, writing poetry, Wheel of Fortune, and reciting proverbs. Bea cared deeply for the beauty of this earth, especially the North Shore.

No matter where she lived, Duluth was always home.

Bea is survived by daughters, Lauren (Kim) Carlson-Vohs, Alice (Gary) Blumenschein; grandchildren, Correne (Justin) Longstrom, Bryan Blumenschein, Michelle and Angelica Vohs; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Harper and Aubrey Longstrom; all of whom look forward to the day they are reunited with Bea.

Funeral service 3 PM Sat., 8/9/14 at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd., New Hope. Visitation 2 hours prior. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
