Edward Bachman dies at 79; Electrical Contractor Years
Edward P. Bachman, 79, died unexpectedly at his home at 54 Woodland Avenue at 1:10 p.m., Tuesday.
He was a master electrical contractor for 50 years until he retired 8 years ago. He served his apprenticeship with the Briggs Electrical Shop in Fond du Lac. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker No. 680. Born August 2, 1885, in Fond du Lac County, he was the son of Adolph and Anna Braun Bachman. He married Ann May Hoey, June 24, 1922. Surviving are the widow; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Wildeman of Madison, Mrs. Herman Endejan, Route 4, and Miss Mayme Bachman of Milwaukee, 2 brothers, August of Sheboygan and William of Madison; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Friday at Bidlingmaier Funeral Home and at 9:15 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be at St. Mathew's Cemetery, Campbellsport.
