MAYSVILLE-Geraldine “Jeri” F. Heck, 83, of Maysville, died at home on March 1, 2015. She was born in Lewis Co., KY, on July 10, 1931 the daughter of the late John William and Dixie Simpson Faris. She was a former resident of Louisville where she was an accountant and a member of St. Barnabus Church and attended The Good Shepherd Church. She was the widow of William “Bill” Heck and after his death she moved to Maysville to be with her sister the late Garneda F. Goodwin. She is survived by her step-children: Kelly Marie (Pete) Shalbrack of Fountain Hills, AZ and William Joseph “B.J” (Lisa) Heck of Hilliard, OH and step-grandchildren: Kristen, Kyle and Kelly Heck and Megan and Emily Shalbrack. Besides her sister Garneda, she was predeceased by four other sisters: Minnie Mae Carr, Virginia F. Hayes, Connie F. Beckett and Kathryne F. Childrey. Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home, Germantown, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00am – 1:00pm Saturday at the funeral Home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Garden of Memories, Maysville, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society or Hospice of Hope. Condolences may be sent to PalmerFH.com
