Edward Aloysius Barrett was born March 5, 1891 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Lillian Donnelly Barrett at Saint Agatha’s Roman Catholic Church in Canastota, Madison County, New York on June 21, 1921. They had one child who died at birth. Ed was a salesman. In retirement Ed and Mary lived six months of each year in New York and six months in Florida. Ed died at age 88 on July 25, 1979 in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida and is buried at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York, next to his wife Mary.
