Ronald H. Gauthier, age 79, of Manitowoc, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ron was born on February 19, 1936 in Manitowoc, son of the late Harold and Alice (Fischer) Gauthier. He was a 1954 graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. Ron served in the United States Army from 1958-1964. He worked in the Manitowoc area as a self employed carpenter. Ron loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Brenda (Michael) Gates, Hertford, NC; one granddaughter: Raeann Gates, Greenville, NC; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Dale Gauthier, Kaukauna; Gary (Marty) Gauthier, Buffalo, MO; other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold and Alice Gauthier.

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St. Manitowoc. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday until the time of service at 4:00 p.m.
