Obituary

It was with the sincerest regret the The Herald learned of the death in New Orleans yesterday (Friday) afternoon, at two o'clock, of Mortimer E. Dahlgren, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Dahlgren, of Biloxi, in the ninth year of his age. The little fellow had been quite a sufferer for some weeks past, and while his death was not unexpected it brought a sad and serious shock to the fond hearts of his loving parents, as well as to all who knew and admired the manly little fellow.
Mr. and Mrs. Dahlgren can rest assured that they will have the most earnest sympathies of all in Biloxi at the great and irreparable loss they have sustained.
The remains will be brought to Beauvoir for interment, the funeral taking place at two o'clock this (Saturday) afternoon.
