She was married three times. Her first marriage would have been about 1882. The name of her husband is not known. By this marriage she had one daughter, Nellie, 1883, who married George Sheeley about 1899.
She married her second husband whose name was Harmon, probably about 1889.
By 1900 she was living with her daughter Nellie Sheeley in Camden Village, Oneida County, New York.
By 1906 she had moved back to Pulaski, Oswego County. She married Bert Chapman, and they lived in Schroepel, Oswego County until her death in 1931.

Phoenix. June 26 -- Mrs. Clara E. Chapman, 74, wife of Bert L. Chapman, died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Main street after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Chapman leaves besides her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Sheeley of Syracuse, one grandson, Vernon Sheeley of Fulton, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Thursday afternoon at 3:30 and burial made in Chase cemetery.
