Edward W Horn was born in 1864 in Tennessee, the son of Edward Hicks Horn (1831–1892) and Mary E (Deford) Horn (1835–1909).
He was married to Luellen "Ella" Finney Horn (1868-1929), the daughter of L L Finney and Lu Ella (Ford) Finney.
A retired coach painter living at 139 Fain Street, Nashville, he was 77 years old and a widower when he died of myocardial failure on May 22, 1941 at Little Sisters of the Poor Home. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
