Crawfordsville resident. Died at St Vincent Hospital.

Son of Joseph William and Edna Pearl Shirley Gregg.
Married Nancy Jane Laughner August 23, 1969 in Waynetown. She survives.
Also surviving sons Joe (Kimberly) and Aaron (Kim) Gregg; a sister Shirley Rae; and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joseph William Jr., Curley and Jerry Thomas and an infant sister, Annabelle Lee.

1962 graduate of Thorntown High School.
Served with the U.S. Army as an administrative specialist.
Retired as a 'flat cutter operator' after 47 years with R R Donnelley.

Jim enjoyed working with his grandchildren in the swine projects in 4-H and was a great fan of their school sporting activities. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and to some was known as a 'Horse Training Professor'.

Service 11am Thursday, April 9 at Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate with Pastor Ron Raffignone officiating. Graveside military rites by Crawfordsville American Legion Post #72 and VFW. Visitation 5–8pm Wednesday.

Memorial donations to Wayne Winners 4-H Club.
