Death came Thursday to Wencel Maresh, one of the oldest brothers at the convent here, the demise following a stroke which he had suffered the day previous. The funeral was held Saturday morning with services at St. Ambrose church. Wencel Marash was born in Europe eighty-three years ago and came to this country in 1863, joining the local convent colony. He served with Rev. Ochswald and has always been with the colony since 1863.

Death came Thursday to Wencel Maresh, one of the oldest brothers at the convent here, the demise following a stroke which he had suffered the day previous.
