William Herschel Campbell age 95 died July 19 2008.
Employed at DuPont for 48 years and the Mt. Juliet Funeral Home for 12 years. He was an active member of the Mt. Juliet First Baptist Church serving as Deacon, Usher and Greeter.
For 43 years, he ministered to Wilson County nursing homes including Margie Anna Nursing Home, Johnson Retirement Nursing Home and Mt. Juliet Health Care.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, July 22 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment followed at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: his wife of 71 years Annie Elizabeth Campbell, two sons and their wives, two grandchildren, one great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by parents Nealus Tom and Ellen Thomas Campbell; brothers Roy Campbell and George Campbell and sister Lelia Allison.
Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet was in charge of arrangements.
