Allene Allen Davis, age 93, of New Market, AL passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born in Jackson County, AL on December 9, 1921 to the late Willie & Della Allen. She was a former seamstress for Serbin Fashions and Stewman Fashions and was a member of Oakley Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Davis, son, Dalton Davis and sister, Ola Mae Allen. Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Virginia Spelce of Portage, IN and Anita Logan of Huntsville, AL, sons, Joe Davis and Ray Davis both of New Market, AL, sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Stayton officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
