Mrs. Vincent Brefczynski, 52, of 1218 S. 26th St., Manitowoc,
died Saturday morning at her home.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Leschke-Bergner
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic
Church. Msgr John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery.
The former Catherine Szymczyk was born at Chicago Feb. 16,
1906, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Szymczyk. She
was married to Mr. Brefczynski at Manitowoc, Oct. 31, 1925.
Surviving are the husband, five sons, Alois, Norbert and Walter
of Manitowoc, Pfc. Edward of Okinawa and Pfc. Gerald of North
Carolina; three daughters, Mrs. Albert Kopidlansky Jr., of Cato,
Mrs. Donald Free of Milwaukee and Miss Grace Brekdzynski of
Manitowoc; a brother, John of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Blanche
Chamberlin of Texas and 18 grandchildren. A brother, Stanley,
preceded her in death in 1932.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday where
the Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
