Herman Quinn Funk, only child of Helen and Herman Funk, grew up and graduated from Fort Lupton High School (1949). He met Carolyn Boyd, the love of his life and wife of 68 years, in Virginia Dale Colorado. Quinn worked at Ideal (Holnam) Cement for over 40 years.

He was the leader of the Livermore Wranglers 4-H Club, competed successfully in bench-rest shooting matches, enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, square-dancing and family gatherings.

He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn, and his son, Clark Quinn Funk.

He is survived by three daughters, Karel Campbell, Rhonda George and Mary Jo Phipps along with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
