42 years in prison is a long time. No one will ever know who fired first or why. War time suspicions and distrust clouded clear thinking men. You were caught up in the storm. I loved Toms book. John, I learned yesterday you spent the last years of your life as the sole survivor of the family. Also, you visited the family graves every day with out fail, spending many hours there, alone with their memory and your thoughts. Peace now John, and rest in that peace. There is a better world and this you now know. The rest of us will one day find out.
